About Us
Houma Outpatient Surgery Center is an Ambulatory Surgery Center located at 3717 Houma Blvd., in the heart of Metairie’s medical district. HOSC provides convenient access to excellent medical care for patients in the Greater New Orleans area. Our mission is to provide our Patients and Medical Staff with individualized, quality care and service in a state of the art surgical facility.
We are currently the only ASC in the area utilizing the germ killing technology of UVC in our Center. HOSC utilizes the Spectra 1100 light because we are committed to keeping at the forefront of infection control in the 21st century.
Houma Outpatient was founded in 1985. There are currently more than 30 physicians on staff – who represent the following specialities: general surgery, plastic surgery, otorhinolaryngology and podiatry.
Our Facility
HOSC offers three modern, fully-equipped operating suites. Ample parking underneath the building allows for easy and convenient patient and visitor parking and physician access.
Our Certification
HOSC maintains certification and licensure through the State of Louisiana, Medicare and the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
